With a background of an armourer, I was curator of the Vaudois Military Museum of the castle of Morges where in historical weapons and military history. At the present time,I am retired but still doing hoby style genealogical research work especially so in them field of families HUMBERT-DROZ, and for my mother ROD from Peney le Jorat, family.

I love searching in old documents, styles of life, and community life as home of my ancesters. I am a member of the family branch who emigrated to the St.-Imier valley formerly bishopric of Basle where theyearned their living as merchants or even migrating merchants of which, I would like to know more. In my spare time, if any, I like to ramble in the mountains, fields and forests as well as ski-ing. Beekeeping is one more of my hotbies.
